Bostree features a varied selection of unique functional and decorative American craft created by numerous local and national craftspeople as well as by its owners, Theresa and Ray Boswell. They first opened Bostree in 1982 in Scotts Meadow, Sugar Loaf, NY. In 1984 Theresa and Ray purchased a building at the other end of town on Wood Road where they moved their gallery, home and studio under one roof. In 1999 Theresa moved the gallery to its current location in the center of Sugar Loaf and in 2001 Ray completed the building of his three floor studio next to their home to accommodate his growing number of pottery students.
