A new cooperative for creative women is being launched by Rena Wilhelm of The White Weathered Barn (Romer’s Alley) Sugar Loaf and by Dana Anders, whose handmade cards have appeared in many of Sugar Loaf’s boutiques. This cooperative is run by women in support of women. Three residents of Sugar Loaf’s arts community are to be honored at this year’s Orange County Arts Council awards ceremony to be held November 12, 2010 at the Harness Racing Museum in Goshen NY. Among this year’s recipients are Sugar Loaf residents Nick Zungoli, nationally acclaimed photographer, Lycian Stage Lighting’s Richard and Susan Logothetics and painter John Creagh. What a perfect day to host Sugar Loaf NY’s Annual Holiday Event! The weather was amazing & the village was-a-hoppin’ with cheerful shoppers & warm ciders. Delish!
