Since 1980, the Barnsider Tavern has served savory fare and hearty drinks to millions of guests by offering cold pints of quenching draft beer and hot local apple cider in the warm and cozy tap room. The front windows display a comprehensive collection of old carpentry tools. These greetings, along with the barn siding and hand-hewn beam interior, create a visually interesting, inviting and comfortable ambiance.

Dine in the ground floor Sunroom and watch passers-by on the charming main street of Sugar Loaf, or sup a hot cup of coffee with your dessert upstairs in the Eric Sloane room where the artist’s original prints hang and a view of Sugar Loaf Mountain looms outside. Here you can relax by the large fireplace which burns in cold weather. Enjoy selections from the new menu or choose one of the unique daily specials from the blackboard.

At the Barnsider Tavern, whether with co-workers, friends or family, there’s something for everyone. The Barnsider Tavern, a warm and cozy place to have parties, meetings and large gatherings with a rustic touch, is located on Kings Highway in the heart of the hamlet of Sugar Loaf, New York, and has ample off-street parking.
