Where is Romer’s Alley in Sugar Loaf

Romer’s Alley is a must see for patrons visiting Sugar Loaf. If you park in the main parking lot on Kings Highway, next to the Barnsider restaurant, Romer’s Alley is literally right across the street. The alley features many events, music & a few nooks & cranies that allow you to park it & absorb the Sugar Loaf atmosphere. Our campaign “Make Time to Loaf” was realized by Kevin Kern, owner of the Romer’s Alley properties.

Painted in beautiful autumnal colors, the stores of Romer’s Alley start with Moondancer #9a at the top of the alley that specializes in Native American handicrafts, fashions inspired by India, as well as sterling & gemstone jewelry, oils, incense, candles & much more. Owner Tammy is a scent guru, blending oils & creating heavenly fragrances. You may say she is Scent-sational!

Behind Moondancer is Kelly Jane’s #9b, a colorful boutique filled with handmade handbags, belts, head wraps aprons, watch bands & costume jewelry. All the fabric goods within the shop are designed & crafted by owner Kelly Jane on site. Stop by often as she is constantly creating new merchandise to keep up with the demand.

A few steps away you will find J. Hengen Designs #10, a working studio/retail shop belonging to a woman who is clearly not afraid to get her hands dirty. A true jewelry artisan & potter, owner Jessica is equipped with a bunch of really cool tools! Drill bits, burrs, diamond files, hammers, sanders, mandrels, a lathe, more files, gas tanks for goodness sakes, and much more. Guys will dig this shop as well, not just for the tools, but for the fascinating Unisex jewelry & unique custom wedding band options.

Pop on down to see Ellen Smith of Trendipity #11a, a whimsical shop of trend setting costume jewelry and inspirational gifts. Be sure to check out Ellen’s handmade crafts as she does “a little bit of this”, “a little bit of that”, sprinkled with a “handful of what-cha-ma-whose-its”.

#12b Bliss Co-op
